On your typical project, designers and engineers create a plan and it falls on the construction teams to put the plan into action. In the ideal situation, everything should go as planned. But experience has shown us that plans are never perfect and the team has to improvise on the fly. These feedback cycles and plan changes cause delays that end up costing time and money.

BOLD looks for budget and constructibility issues first. We practice this model each day and promote a collaborative process among the general contractor, owner, architects, and other subcontractors.
BOLD personnel assist before and during the design development phase, with project budgeting in the conceptual stage.
Using our cost database and our skilled personnel, we produce extremely accurate cost estimates early in the process. Our team reviews plans and specifications in search of excessive costs and opportunities for design improvements. While performing value engineering, we identify any design and/or construction methods that improve the economics of the project and make appropriate recommendations to the project team.
